01Who we are

The Buildsheet is a subscription-based platform for automotive enthusiasts to document, share, and follow car builds. It is a product of the Labs division of Scholz Family Consulting. By creating an account and using this service, you agree to these terms.

02Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use The Buildsheet. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

03What you can post

You may post content related to your vehicle builds, including photos, descriptions, and modification logs. You agree not to post content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, or harassing
• Infringes on the intellectual property of others
• Contains spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation not permitted by these terms
• Depicts violence, nudity, or other content unrelated to automotive builds
• Misrepresents your identity or the nature of your builds

04Content ownership

You own the content you post. By posting on The Buildsheet, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content on the platform. We will never sell your content to third parties or use it for advertising without your explicit consent.

05Messaging

Private messages are between you and the recipient. Do not use the messaging system to harass, threaten, or solicit other members. Abuse of the messaging system may result in account suspension. We may review messages if required by law or to investigate reported abuse.

06Subscription and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly at $1.99/month or annually at $19.99/year. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Pricing may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

07What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not show you ads. We do not share your content with advertisers. We do not algorithmically manipulate what you see to maximize engagement at the expense of your experience. The Buildsheet is funded entirely by subscriptions.

08Reporting and moderation

Members can report content or users that violate these terms. We review all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include content removal, warnings, or account suspension. We aim to respond to reports within 48 hours. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent account termination.

09Limitation of liability

The Buildsheet is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about uptime or availability, though we work hard to keep the service reliable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of The Buildsheet after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
